Here I sit, Pondering as Always...

Here it is February, sitting and listening to my Pandora stations on shuffle! It is unseasonably warm here in Anchorage, like I haven't worn a winter jacket in probably 2 weeks now. I've been in hoodie and jeans or t-shirt and jeans! It's crazy and unfortunately it is making it difficult for the Iron Dog racers that just started their race yesterday! Lots of open water and no snow makes it difficult on snow mobiles (machines)? not sure what the correct Alaskan name is for them! These are the Freestylers we saw yesterday called the Flyin Iron!
Above is the link to check out the Iron Dog racers and all that they are about!
Been trying to get out and do as much stuff as possible I love being active and hate feeling stuck at home so we bought a Tula to carry our kids, Tula's are baby and toddler carriers in other words they are a blessing for my son who has short legs and tires out easily. Below will be a link if you would like to check them out! http://www.tulababycarriers.com/
Exploring Alaska is one of my all time favorite things to do! I love that I can walk out my door or look out my windows and have breath taking views, many of times it feels so surreal, Like any moment I'm going to wake up and not be in Alaska anymore. This place feels like home we are all so so happy here!
One of the many beautiful views literally walking distance from my front door!

Besides exploring Alaska there has been a lot of trying to stay on track eating and working out! It's been hard and I am still not at my goal but I am a lot happier now than I was 6 months ago and that counts for something!
I no longer dwell as much on the number on the scale. Numbers don't define me! I am focusing on how my body feels and how much happier I feel, because that is what truly matters, healthy body and healthy mind. My journey is not over by any means but I WILL get there and I WON'T give up!

Besides exploring and healthy eating and such I've just been super excited to start working on my Jeep! Finally getting a lift and such for him (yes him & yes he does have a name). Go ahead judge haha. Hopefully within the next month I will have everything on him and finally looking the way I have pictured it looking since I was a kid. No idea if I have ever touched on this but a Jeep Wrangler was my dream vehicle. I guess you could say I have never been a normal girl, most girls dream of sports cars and fairy tale weddings. I dreamed of jacked up Jeeps or Trucks in the mud and a wedding out in the woods, a field, or on a mountain. I've been married for 5 years now and while my wedding was in my in-laws house not in ant of the places I described above. We WILL (and are already planning) a vowel renewal most likely somewhere here in Alaska because Alaska has been one of the best things to happen to our family!
Here HE is! I decided that this is the last picture, my BEFORE picture that I will take until he has his new look!

Well thanks for listening to my ramblings of the day hopefully you enjoy! K.M.F - Until next time ladies and gents!
