Nice and simple this morning scrambled eggs with spinach onion and salsa, with a side of nitrite free bacon of course with my cup of coffee not pictured! It was delicious and made me finally able to get my butt in gear! Still haven't tackled the 3 baskets of laundry that I need to fold but I'm sure I'll get around to it or I'll have a bonfire and wear trash bags for the rest of my existence (kidding of course)!
I did however get some organizing done!
I am the worlds worst with having papers laying around everywhere so I bought this super cute folder thing to keep all my papers more organized. Now I just need to invest in a paper shredder for all the junk mail we constantly receive!
Last night I started thinking about something that kind of puzzled me and had me thinking that I need to retrain my brain. So so often I uplift many of my female friends (and they do the same thing for me) but when I'm alone or I look in a mirror all I focus on are my flaws, and my imperfection. I realized that we often distort our self image to ourselves, I try to exude confidence to everyone around me but in fact that is the farthest thing from reality. Because I solely focus on my negatives and hardly ever make myself realize how far I've come or what I've accomplished!
I created this picture last night when the picture on the left popped up in my Time-hop app. Four years ago yesterday I was pregnant with my son who was born May of 2011 and mind you this was a back to back pregnancy as my daughter was born May of 2010. The picture on the left is from a few days ago when I went downtown to the Iron Dog festivities. Until I put these pictures side by side and lets face it even after. I still can't comprehend that I did loose all that weight and I did bounce back from 2 pregnancies quite well.
What I'm getting at is. Don't always look at your flaws and short comings. It's something I am still having to learn. But we ALL just need to remember we are awesome and we are doing something great for ourselves every day! Never give up on your goals, even if you pass your time limit you set, time is relative because we are never promised tomorrow. So continue pushing toward your goals and you WILL see progress. Weather you are wanting to lose weight, get a job, graduate, or whatever it may be you are working towards, you WILL achieve it!!
Just a little daily funny for you which I feel everyone needs one good laugh daily...Okay I think we all deserve to laugh often and a lot, but here's one for you!
Yes, we ALL deserve this..
Carry on with your days lovely people and as always I hope you enjoyed!
